Snorkmaiden is sweet and sensitive, sometimes a little vain and flirtatious Snork who enjoys being the centre of attention. In the Snorkmaiden Lila plate from the Moomin Classics Collection, she has bought her first-ever lipstick and bikini and is trying them on. However, she rejects them both after realising they are not for her after all.

The illustrations are based on Tove Jansson's comic "Moomin on the Riviera" from 1955.
